— About Springfield

Our Refuge

We are the only dedicated refuge in Cumbria offering accommodation to women at risk of homelessness because they are feeling domestic abuse, taking referrals from agencies from all over the Country.

Our house offers a safe place to stay and is open to single women.  We have seven bedrooms, a large, bright communal lounge, kitchen and a small but lovely garden.

You will get dedicated 1:1 and group support to help you in your recovery as well as practical help with benefits, housing options and start the process of making a new life for yourself.

‘I can’t thank you enough for all the help and support you’ve given me. You’ve made a massive difference to my life and helped me stand on my own two feet. I will always remember your kindness and all the work you put in to help me’
