Domestic Abuse Support Project Worker
£9.28 per hour
Part time: 12-16 hours per week

We are currently looking to recruit a Domestic Abuse Project Worker to join our small staff team. This post will be based in our community support hub in Kendal. The role will involve taking referrals, providing one to one support and facilitating group workshops for clients who have experienced domestic abuse. You will be expected to manage a small caseload. You will have a clear understanding of domestic abuse and the impact it has on survivors. You should have experience of providing one to one support and advocacy for clients, signposting to other agencies, multi-agency working, risk assessing and safety planning.
This post is currently funded until January 2020 with the possibility of extending subject to funding.
