I felt like I was flawed, now I realise its happening to others and I feel ok
You’ve been wonderful, the phone calls mean so much. To be heard and believed stops me feeling like I’m going mad
I was determined to attend (groups) every week and I started to share my experiences with the group. I have implemented many of the techniques we as a support group found personally helped to become stronger, wiser, more knowledgeable
I now believe that being a Survivor of Domestic Abuse is a lifelong commitment to yourself, to be true to yourself and to be an advocate to all those people what can’t see the wood for the trees. My life is now full of sunshine not storms.
